Family plans in Rías Baixas
Visiting the best beaches in Rías Baixas
This recommendation had to be at the top of our list. The province of Pontevedra can boast 58 blue flag beaches and dozens of paradisiacal coves to lose yourself in.
In the surroundings of our apartment complex in the Rías Baixas you will find several beaches, among which La Lanzada beach stands out, just 10 minutes away. This beach is considered one of the best beaches in the European Atlantic, and one of the most emblematic in Galicia. And there are plenty of reasons for this, as it is more than 2 km long, has crystal clear waters and fine sand…

Activities in nature in Rías Baixas
Visiting the Bird Observatory at Arnosa Point
Taking a boat trip on the estuary
Visit a natural park (or two). A few miles away and after a comfortable and exciting ferry ride, you can visit the Illas Cies and Illa de Ons Natural Parks in one day. Two almost virgin archipelagos ideal for a family adventure. The most comfortable option is to visit Ons embarking in Portonovo, located a short distance from the hotel. Note: this is a very popular activity and we recommend you book in advance to ensure your visit.
Rent a kayak or pedalo to sail along the estuary and enjoy an afternoon of sun and beach.
Take a walk along one of the many promenades or visit the Molinos de Lores route. With almost no slope and very well signposted, it is a perfect walk to do with the little ones of the house.
Getting to know the history of Rías Baixas with the family
Get to know the shellfish gatherers’ trade through this educational workshop designed for the whole family and live a unique experience up close.
Discover what life was like 4,000 years ago through the recreation of a small village made up of several huts, storage structures and animal enclosures built with the same materials as in the past at the Campo Lameiro Archaeological Park of Rock Art. An educational experience that will not leave you indifferent.
Plans for the more adventurous in Rias Baixas
A multi-adventure circuit among trees and a zip line at Ecoparque Marín, horse riding routes and the option of a game of paintball for the whole family. These activities will delight young and old (from 5 years old).
Charming villages in Rías Baixas
We recommend a visit to Combarro and its hórreos and mariñeira houses. One of the most charming villages in Rías Baixas and ideal to visit with children. You should also visit Portonovo, Sanxenxo and O Grove in our surroundings.
